147 ethnic minority students in Dong Nai received scholarships

On July 4th, 147 ethnic minority students from Dong Nai province received scholarships from the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Dong Nai Youth Union, VinaCapital Foundation, and Nam A Bank.

This is the first scholarship award ceremony in the campaign of Set Path to Schools – Brighten up the future. This campaign is part of the A Brighter Path program, which provides opportunities for ethnic minority students nationwide.

The event saw the attendance of Truong My Hoa, Former Vice President of the State, Chairman of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund; senior leaders of Dong Nai Province, Nam A Bank, and VinaCapital Foundation.

As Inspiring Ambassador of A Brighter Path, Miss H'Hen Nie awarded the scholarships to outstanding students and spoke with the children of Dong Nai province.

H'Hen Nie and Nhu Ngoc, a student who was awarded the A Brighter Path - Phase 2 scholarship, shared tips about good time management and reminded students to keep striving in order to achieve their dreams.

The Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, named after a young liaison officer killed during the French resistance war, was set up in 1999 by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to support poor ethnic students in their study./.
