The first period of construction had been started in May 2015 with a two – storey building with 3 class room for 4 – 10 years old children was built. In November 2016, the first period of construction was completed and put to use.

After the second period of construction finished, the center can take care of 100 orphans. One clinic and a handicraft training workshop was included to help orphans gradually be in social inclusion, especially the children have physical and mental confinement…

Marc De Muynck, Vice President of Les Enfants du Dragon shared that the center was not only an orphanage, but also the real family of the children. Although we conducted activities in Long An, Dong Nai, Soc Trang and Ho Chi Minh City, this center is an important project of our small organisation.

He also emphasised “there are many misfortunate children and providing all of them a home is a great mission. Our action is small compared with the great mission. However we are proud of our humanitarian projects or children and deprived families with a hope of contributing to create the world of humanity and equality.”

Les Enfants du Dragon is an a French NGO founded by Marc De Muynck in 2009 with the main objective of financially and materially supporting the Vietnamese children and poorest people.

His association conducted humanitarian projects for children and deprived families in four provinces: Dong Nai, Soc Trang, Long An, Dong Thap and in HCM City./.
